Kurt is a classically trained mechanical engineer and earned BS & MS degrees from Villanova University.

After moving to New England in 2002, Kurt gained experience as a problem solver, forward thinker and strategic planner designing and building technology for future fleets at General Dynamics Electric Boat.

Now employed as an engineering director at a smaller firm in Rhode Island, Kurt manages and mentors engineers across the East Coast who work to solve some of the hardest undersea problems the US is faced with today.

In 2019, along with his wife and six-year-old son. Kurt moved to East Greenwich and believes this town is the perfect place to live.
